For those who have the Angel Care Monitor...
do you use it in conjuntion with another sound/video monitor? We have the Summer video and sound monitor now - is it overkill to get the Angel Care too and still use the video monitor so I can see him?

We had the Angel Care without the sound monitor, so we have separate sound monitors for both DC. No video, though.
They solve different issues. The Angel Care is to detect motion in infants. The video and/or sound is to check on them when they wake up. When you are sound asleep, you won't hear or see them stop moving, so the Angel Care satisfies that concern. When they are awake, the video monitor will let you know if they are just occupying themselves in their crib, or if they really need you.
