for those who use Garnier BB cream
How would you describe your natural skin tone, and which shade of the Garnier BB cream do you use? Light/medium, or medium/dark?
I really struggle with this. I feel like my skin is exactly "medium." The medium/dark works great in the summer when i'm tan, but otherwise, like in the winter, it's too dark and looks silly / Snooki-ish. The light/medium is too light all year long - i look like a corpse when i put it on.
Anyone else have this dilemma? I love this stuff i wish there was a plain "medium"!

Re: for those who use Garnier BB cream
I see people on YouTube mix the two to get the right color.

You can use the light and then use a bronzer. I do the same thing though, medium/dark in the summer and then light in the winter (I get really pale though)...but I put bronzer over it to give me some color, but not too much.

I see that Ponds makes a BB cream that gets great reviews too. I have yet to try it though.

Re: for those who use Garnier BB cream
Can I ask- are you using the one for oily/combination skin? I found that the one for oily skin goes on much lighter/more ghostly than the original. But after a few minutes it kind of blends in and adjusts to your skin tone.
If not, try mixing the 2 colors together like another poster mentioned.

Re: for those who use Garnier BB cream
I look like a ghost when I use the light/medium when I have even a bit of tan but since that is only like 3 months out of the year, I am too cheap to buy the medium/dark. Instead I use the light one that I have and then bronze up my skin with the NYX mosaic blush/bronzer thing that was in one of my Ipsy bags. I do like the idea of mixing them together though.

Re: for those who use Garnier BB cream
Thanks ladies. I have been using the light/med with bronzer powder and blush, but it's SO scary light when i first put it on! Mixing the two shades together is a good idea, don't know why i didn't think of that!
And yup, it's the one for oily skin that i've been using!

Re: for those who use Garnier BB cream
I use the light/medium of the oil-free one, and then dust a little Physician's Formula mosaic blush/bronzer over it.

The oily skin one is significantly lighter going on than the original. I was actually taken aback when I first got it. Not sure why but I know what you mean!
