Garnier now makes their BB cream for oily skin too!
I just saw in CVS on Saturday that Garnier BB cream now comes in an oil absorping formula for normal to oily skin.
I know a lot of people said it was too shiny/greasy for them or made them break out.
This new one might be worth a shot.
For now I like the original but in the summer it does tend to get a little slick on me- so I might give it a shot then.

I am having such a hard time with makeup lately. I loved this stuff until it made me break out. I feel like everything is making me break out! Maybe since its for oily skin it won't have the same effect? Worth a shot I guess.

Yes I think a lot of people complained it was too greasy for them and that is why they came out with the oil control version.
I'd try it.
Get it at Ulta if you can- they take back open product so if it doesn't work out, you can return it!

Its got 72 ratings at MUA so far....a lot of people like it. I may give it a try since I cannot wear anything with oil in it. Iam a greaseball naturally.

I'm glad you posted this! I just bought the original formula the other day and have used it twice so far and think it is a little too greasy. I will probably just finish it and then switch to the oil control one.
QQ: Do you apply this with your hands or a sponge? Do you use this as your one and only foundation/powder?

I use my hands.
I read some reviews that said it worked great with a foundation brush but for me, I get the best coverage with my fingers.
I may not have the techniqure down right with the brush, but I found it never covered as well that way.
So back to just using my fingers

Thanks! I tried it with a sponge the first time and I didn't get good coverage at all. The second time I used my hands and it was much better.

I picked it up today. People are so nasty. I had to reach all the way in the back for one that wasn't tampered with because they were all torn open

It's so much different and I think I like it better!
For starters, I got it at Target, and I paid $11.99 (cheaper elsewhere, but it was an in-the-moment purchase). You only get 2 ounces, whereas the original version was 2.5 ounces.
Upon opening it, I noticed it had a screw on cap (not a flip top) and the opening to dispense it was a pinhole (not a larger opening). And now I know why! It's very liquid-y - more like a liquid foundation than a cream foundation. It went on beautifully and felt like one of those liquid foundations that goes on like a powder. No heavy "cream" feeling on my face.
As far as coverage, I'm still open on that. Definitely feels lighter and airy-er on my face. Big difference!

Do you find it has LESS coverage than the original though? Being so much more liquidy?

I'm still playing with it so I can't give a good review yet.... Coverage after I first apply it is beautiful but it's not lasting.
