For those with 3 year olds with sleep issues...

I know there was a post recently about 3 year olds who were once good sleepers all of a sudden not sleeping well. Ryan started resisting going to bed and waking in the middle of the night last week.

I searched the internet and found this solution on another site, and it has worked for us last night and tonight:

We told Ryan that if he gets out of bed, we will close his door. He hates to have the door closed. So he got out of bed last night and we closed it, and he freaked out. We calmed him down and explained it to him again, and he went right to bed! Tonight he didn't even try to get out once!!! Hopefully this will continue to work...

Just thought I would share, maybe this will work for someone else...

I am glad that it worked for you! I wish that trick would work over here. My DS just keeps banging and banging and banging on the door. I don't know what to do with him and his poor sleep anymore.
