Re: For those with Baby girls???? (ear piercing ??)
Marron was about 6.5 months old. She did fine. She cried for a minute or two, I gave her the binky and she calmed right down. They were a cinch to care for. What I did to make life easier though was I put the ear cleaning solution into a little spray bottle I got at Target and I would "spray" her ear instead of trying to get the solution around the earring with a cotton ball. Now I still have the stuff in the spray bottle and when I change her earrings I still spray her ear and the earrings in my hand before I put them in. We had it done at Piercing Pagoda in the mall. I lurked around the different places that did it and looked for someone who I thought would do a good job -- and she did. Not too young so she didn't care, but not too old so she was uncaring, and def. not a guy. Probably just me being silly, but I was particular about that.
ETA: the only advice I will give you is not to put the family diamonds in her ears (or anything else too expensive or sentimental). Marron has lost MANY earrings in the last year or so. Screwbacks, regular posts, hoops, even the starter studs. I don't know how, but every so often I look at her and realize she only has 1 earring in.

My Reesie was 3 mnths old, got it done @ Claire's in Tanger in Riverhead, very good. She sat on my lap, filled out paper work, lady marked her ear lopes where the earings will go. She did one at a time, my DD cried for a moment then thats it. Getting shots was worse. By the time we left she was her ole happy self. I put the antiseptic on her ears 3x a day (they give you a bottle). She is doing great!

Re: For those with Baby girls???? (ear piercing ??)
dd was 3.5 months old...the lady who pierced them was an idiot IMHO, she took her sweet a@@ time piercing the second one while my dd was screaming her head off. She cried for like 2 minutes and then was sound asleep. Taking care of them was easy, I would wipe them with the solution given 2-3 times a day for a few weeks
we have had no problems with them at all

DD was 3 months old and we got it done at the doctors office. For the first month they gave us some ointment to put on 2x a day and after that I have not touched them at all. Doc told us not to use alcohol in the beginning.

My pediatrician did it, they gave me numbing cream to put on her beforehand. SHe didn't cry at all. It was much easier then i thought it would be to maintain. I got an eye dropper and every day when i changed her i would drop some alcohol on the earring and sping it.

My ped would not do it until she was "old enough to ask for it"
Went to "Piercing Pagoda" in the Sunrise mall. The girl was WONDERFUL. DD cried for about 15 seconds. Got them done at 7 months.

Re: For those with Baby girls???? (ear piercing ??)
We got Hayley's done at 5 months and it was at the place outside of Build a Bear in Smithaven Mall. They did both at the same time. She cried for a few seconds, gave her the binkie and she was calm. She never gave me a problem cleaning them.
I plan on getting DD#2's done too

DD was 2 months old when we got hers done. She cried for literally a second and then was fine. I think it's better when you do them when they are young. Never had any problems with them either.

We had them done at 8 months at the ped's office. My DD cried for maybe 2 minutes and after that she was fine. I didn't find them hard to maintain; I just twirled them around a couple of times a day, cleaned them with peroxide and applied some A&D here and there.

Julia was 3 months when she got hers done, we took her to a jewelry store by our house, it took a few seconds and she only cried a little bit, she didn't even know they were there and never touched them! Its much easier to deal with when there babies then when there older and want to touch them all the time.
