I can't worry about things that I can't change. Plus, who knows.... maybe in 20 years they'll find out that BPA prevents certain types of cancer.... any decision that we make has pros and cons, and we can't second guess everything we do. We just have to be comfortable that we did the best we could, with the information that we had at the time. Chat Icon Chat Icon

I feel the same way. Not only did I us Dr. Brown's but I also warmed the milk in the bottle on the stove just like my mom did for us. I just can't dwell on it. I do know that if we have a 3rd and I do decide to use bottles (I am EBF DD) then I know have I have safer choices.

Honestly, I have not and will not give it a second thought. My mother would have killed herself long ago for smoking throughout all of her pregnancies. IMO, if I were to get that upset about it, I may as well move to the forest and eat twigs and grass...because no matter WHAT it will be something unfortunately. Chat Icon Chat Icon

If there are farms nearby, the grass could have pesticides. Acid rain falls on the twigs and grass, too..... External Image

I definately don't worry about this stuff- you didn't know so what can you do. I really should kick myself and my DH since he works in plastics and should have warned meChat Icon He still doesn't think its a big deal and pointed out all the products we use everyday that have chemicals in them.

You do the best you can, with the information you have at the time. Chat Icon

ITA. My DS was BF and never had a bottle. My DD was bottle fed (I used Dr. Brown's) and I can't look back and worry. They still both use plastic sippy cups every day.

Everything we use can in one way be harmful.....
