Formula checks? Cheapest way to buy formula?
DS has onlly been completely on formula for about a month so I am new at this...but, it is starting to add up to $$$$$. I see all these posts on formula "checks" - what are they and how do you get them? Also, what is the cheapest place/way you have found to buy formula - so far the cheapest place I have found is BRU and it doesn't seem to be cheaper to buy in bulk there...TIA!
BTW, he drinks Similac Advance if that matters

Powder is the cheeapest way to go but Costco has Similac Advance RTF cases for $30. Diapers.com is pretty cheap for most baby related stuff. I havent tried them yet but have a $10 off and free shippinh coupon code, so I am going to give them a shot. You can get formula coupons by signing up at Similac.com.

Go to Similac.com and sign up. They send checks every so often for $$ off the formuila. Have all your friends and family sign up as well and give you the checks when they get them. It helps!

The cheapest way to get formula is to go generic. Same exact thing for half the price.

Re: Formula checks? Cheapest way to buy formula?
I have found the cheapest way to do it is to wait until CVS has it on sale. With the use of the formula checks, extra care bucks and the $5 of of $25 that is on every receipt I usually can get powdered cans for 50% off. When they do have the sales I stock up!!

Re: Formula checks? Cheapest way to buy formula?
Does costco accept the formula checks? What about BRU and do they accept the checks along in conjunction with their own coupons? I just signed up at similac.com... do you get them in the mail or on-line?
CVS is another good option b/c I go there all the time for stuff for us.

You get them in the mail. THey really don't come that often, so sign up your mom, etc.
CVS is pricy for formula

Costco or BJ's are the cheapest I found. They take the formula checks and their containers are bigger than the other stores.
