Formula used in hospitals

Anyone know which formula Southside starts babies on? Just curious.

I dont know specifically about Southside..but I dont know why it should be any different than any other hospital..There is really no rhyme or reason to which formula and "goodybag" the hospital will have when you have the baby..although from past experience (myself & friends) it is usually either Enfamil or Similac...

I had a friends who gave birth 2 weeks apart, at an area hospital, and one used Similac the other Enfamil...

I've read that most hospitals give Similac unless you request Enfamil.

They are pretty much the same thing though. I think you can call Southside and ask them.

The reason why they are sometimes different is that they get money from the formula companies to use their brand. If its a North Shore hospital, they are probably using similac

Hi, I just delivered at Southside & they use Enfamil Lipil w/ Iron.
