Found this for those with high estrogen/low progesterone
I found this while looking for ways to naturally increase progesterone, and lower estrogen (which is a likely cause for poor/weak ovulation)
Its mostly about a better diet (with less sugar/processed foods) and exercise can help improve ovulation. This is where Im starting... my eating habits are terrible and they get worse with every BFN lol Im also going to add a vitamin B complex since I have Epstein Barr..
Hoping it helps some of you!

Re: Found this for those with high estrogen/low progesterone
i disagree that high estrogen causes weak ovulation. i have PCOS and before ovulation my e2 can skyrocket. its never caused an issue with ovulation or egg quality, and its pretty common. before my IVF my e2 was well over 5,000 due to quantity of eggs - and the quality of them was perfect since every one fertilized and we ended up with 10 great quality embryos.
low e2 can cause more issues with egg maturation and ovulation than high e2 will cause in damage. what are you basing "high estrogen levels" on? is your e2 constantly monitored? at ovulation e2 should be around 200-300 per mature egg.
while a healthy diet will never hurt things, unless you are eating tons of soy with every meal, you prob dont have to worry about naturally lowering your estrogen levels.

Is Estradiol the same thing as estrogen? Im confused ab what you're saying skyrockets before ovulation. Maybe it doesnt lead to poor ovulation, but itsnt it safe to say that high estrogen = low progesterone when looked at the month as a whole? In that case, it could make conceiving more diffifuclt. so to me, naturally trying to lower estrogen would help to raise progesterone, in turn helping with the TTC process. I love how Im a self proclaimed Dr

e2=estrogen=estradiol (basically) they arent exactly molecularly the same but for the purposes of this convo and what a doctor would call them - its interchangeable. estrogen rises as eggs mature. it is around its highest when the LH surge happens.
and no, high estrogen does not always equal low progesterone. while it can happen, it certainly isn't the rule. high estrogen is common is cycles where more than one egg is released, without ill effects on egg quality. it also isnt a particularly common issue compared to low progesterone. low progesterone is extremely common. and is a much more solvable issue with meds. while many foods contain things that raise your estrogen (especially soy), there aren't many that have a direct effect on progesterone. however ob/gyns and REs can prescribe progesterone pills and suppositories (and injections in the worst cases) to combat low progesterone. i would only assume low progesterone if your LP is short or if you often experience pre-AF spotting. otherwise no reason to make the assumption without bloodwork.
as for the article you posted, all of what they posted are good ideas in general for TTC.
