Fran Drescher LONG
I have to write this because I was so amazed at how kind this women is...
My Aunt's friend lost her battle with breast cancer( which then spread) 3 weeks ago leaving behind her 15 year old Daughter also dying of some rare form of cancer (heart breaking I know) but before the mother dies she had purchased tickets to a brodway show with Fran Drescher in it (she apparently had breast cancer as well and wrote a book about it )...well the daughter called my aunt and said my mom bought the tickets and I feel i should go but only with you .. well after looking for the ticket they find out the tickets were for 7/7 not 7/8 well devastated the girl calls my aunt my aunt places a few phone call explains the situation ,they see the tickets were bought and replaces them and they get backstage passes Fran does not know that this girl has cancer yet . The girl talks to Fran asks her what made her write the book was it hard and so on Fran says yes having Cancer is difficult and such and the girls says I know I have cancer to .. so fran says well the statistics are one in (i don't know recover) and she says I know but my mother wasn't one of the ones....she died three weeks ago... Fran hugs her signs her book and gives her email address in case she needs to talk .. I just thought that was the most touching thing .. She is only 15 with cancer and motherless .... I am just glad Fran made her day !!!!

I can't imagine that mother knowing she was dying (leaving behind her family ) but that her daughter would battle this without her MY LORD >>>>

Ohhhh sorry.. no tears but it just makes me think how life is cruel sometimes but how we as individuals can touch someones life with just a gesture of kindness.. lifes sux sometimes but it is up to us to make the **** iness a little easier  TO you all

as someone who lost there Mother to Cancer- I know what this little girl is going thru
she should be the leader of our motherless support group
I am going to post this on our board- this girl is an inspriation to all of us - esp those who have lost our mothers- she is so strong

I am crying right now. I lost my MIL to cancer a year and a half ago and it was devastating. To loose your mom at 15...I couldn't imagine. I will pray for the young girl . And for Fran...that was so very nice...and touching!
