Anyone go? I just looked online and it got great reviews...seems to be a very friendly place!

It was amazing in 2011! We booked another trip to OC and we are staying there in July. The only downside is that is a mile from the boardwalk but its really no big deal bc they have a free shuttle that takes you there for free and runs every 10-15 minutes.

Do they offer planned activities here? Like Bingo, arts and crafts, that kind of stuff?

I dont remember any planned activites during the day but I know they had a family movie night in the lobby for everyone and they have a popcorn machine and the kids were in their PJs. We were doing our own thing during the day so thats why I'm not sure.

It is a good mile from the beach/boardwalk. But as I said, they provide a free shuttle thats runs from late June until maybe Sept.

Has anyone else stayed here? What did you think? I'm thinking of booking a trip, but am on the fence. I read a few reviews on TA that the rooms smell musty, and that the walls are paper thin. I've also read that some of the clientele seems to be unsavory, for lack of a better term. Did you find this to be the case?
I know my kids would have fun though since they have so much going on. The distance from the water doesn't concern me, as we have nice beaches here that we go to all the time.
