freaked out
hi, my pregnancy is failing and I am expecting it to miscarry today or tomorrow. I just started to bleed and spot.....what am I in for? I am terrified of how bad this is going to get. I am staying home from work today....I am between 5 and 6 weeks.

I'm so sorry!! I was a little further along when I had my miscarriage and I had pain, bleeding & passing clots (sorry TMI). It lasted for a few hours.

I had really horrible cramping and passed very heavy flow and clots. I'm so sorry, hun. Hang in there.

I had very bad cramping, even that early (actually I was a little later, more like 6-7 weeks) I felt them come in waves. I passed a lot of VERY thick membrane-type clots, and regular clots, I spotted for about 5 days, then bled heavily for 2-3 and then spotted again for a few days. 31 days later I got AF, right on schedule.

Thanks everyone for sharing and demystifying it. It is going as you all indicated...staying in bed all day yesterday was exactly what I needed. thinking of going to work today to just get moving but a little scared in case it gets bad again. What a nightmare.

I think I would stay home another day if I were you. My miscarriage happened on a Friday night, so I had Saturday & Sunday to rest. You need to rest, physically & emotionally. So sorry again.

Everyone is different, I worked through it, I left only an hour early or so due to the pain. Looking back, it was fine, but emotionally I wish I had stayed home.
