Freaking iTunes question

So I got an Ipod for christmas (against my better judgements...well my husbands...)

Anyway, so I tried to create an account with the iTunes store and they want my credit card number, even though I just want to download the artwork (album covers) So do I need to pay for the artwork? Do I need to give them my cc details just to put the artwork on my iPod.

Its cute...but I might throw iTunes over a freaking rainbow if they think I am going to give them my credit card details.

Apple...pah.

Also...if anyone has a video Ipod, I would appreciate some help. How do I get my added cover art to appear in the cover flow and also in the play list?

Your mp3 are not tagged correctly and this is why you don't have artwork.
Itunes will do its best to figure it out and I don't think it has anything to do having an account...

there are other ways of trying to get artwork linked to your music...
i would research a program called mp3tag...

To open an account, even though you credit card is linked to the account, its only used when you purchase movies/music...

I was able to get all the album artwork and not give my credit card info.

I did it by clicking on Music under Library on the left hand side tool bar. Then on the top tool bar go to Advanced and select Get Album Artwork.

See if that works
