Freaking out UPDATE
I will be 38 weeks pregnant on Saturday and I think I have chicken pox. I never had them as a child. Can someone please explain to me what they look like. I go to the doctor today for my weekly check but I'm wondering if I should call him to forwarn him just in case he want's me to enter through the back.
I'm so scared my baby will have them. Why me????
Well it is confirmed I do have the chicken pox and there is nothing that they can do for me. I have to basically ride it out and keep this little girl inside of me as long as I can. I need to have this for at least 5 days so she can get my antibodies of it. I'm just emotionally drained right now.
I have never asked for this but can you all please pray that she stays put for the next for days, the longer the better and that it starts to go away soon.

Call your dr. ASAP!
I had chicken pox as an adult... they start out as a dot either on your chest or on your belly. But, they pop out really qucikly once you discover them... You should be covered within a few hours....
I would take no chances with this one... call your dr. now - were you exposed to anyone with chicken pox?

First, I wouldn't panic that it is chicken pox. What makes you think it is chicken pox versus say rash, hives, pimples etc?

I would definitely call your doctor and see what they have to say - but you might not want to go wait in your OB's office if you think you do have chicken pox.

I not really sure if I was exposed to anyone. Friday was my last day of work and I really haven't gone anywhere. The only thing I can think of is maybe my son passed them to me some how. But he has no signs of them. I was not feeling good on Mon/Tues achy and cold. I took my temp and it said 99.9. The doctor said it wasn't a fever. I woke up sweating and then I noticed the next morning have a few pimples. Just thought it was my hormones, I called them yesterday and the girl that answered said it's probably a rash your coming in tomorrow it can wait. I woke up this morning and I have a few more on my face and on my belly.

If you're already broken out w/ them... you're not contageous to anyone else. With Chicken Pox, you're only contageous before you break out with them (so I've been told).
I would call back and tell them you have more of the bumps and they're spreading.
Oh Jamie-I'm praying you don't have the chicken pox!!!
Have you taken anything? Maybe it's a bad reaction to some medicine?

This is incorrect- you are contagious until every single spot has scabbed over!!!
