freaks when you wipe his hands/face. Anyone else's dc like this?
Jacen freaks out every time you try to wipe his hands and face after he eats. He pulls away, cries, screams, etc. He's done this for a long time now.
Does anyone else's dc do this or am i always just the lucky one?

He doesn't like it, but I always make noises with his mouth to distract him (ya know, when you make him go "wa wa wa"  )

Luca doesn't scream but he does cry and rub his face like we are torturing him

YES...DS hates when I wipe his face! I just make some funny noises and do it as fast as I can. As soon as I stop he calms down.

he doesn't freak, but he's not happy. he squirms and whines, but i always win i don't bother using a napkin---now i use a wipe or a wet towel because it works much faster.

This is a daily battle for us as well. There are rare, and I stress rare, occasions where he doesn't fight it. But most of the time I am victorious

Yeah, same as Bella, C3 still does sometimes, BUT now I let him do it himself and that helps

Yes- he is 19 months old. He freaks out at that and when I change his diaper.
Lately, I fill a large bowl with soap and water, stick a toy at the bottom, and he plays in the water while I suds up the hands and face!

I discovered why the day I wiped my face with a wipe. I sat there saying "Ew. Blech. That's disgusting....". If it gets near your mouth, it's a horrible taste. From then on, I had a lot more sympathy.
