Freeze Cycle - Natural vs Medicated
So I am doing a Natural Freeze Cycle. The decision is up to me, but I went that way because a medicated involves Progesterone shots instead of Crinone and my insurance doesn't cover injectables.
But obviously I would be willing to spend more money for results. My doctor said their is no reason to do medicated over natural besides the ability to control when it happens. If I can be flexible Natural is just as successful.
But wondering the thoughts of the women who have gone through it.

Freeze Cycle - Natural vs Medicated
Success story here! :) I had LO from a natural FET cycle. I was on no medication until transfer. Once I had the transfer I started Crinone for 12W. I was told the success rates for medicated vs. non-med were the same. GOOD LUCK!!

Thanks, thats helpful to hear. I am kind of happy about a med free cycle actually. As long as it doesn't effect the chances.

Re: Freeze Cycle - Natural vs Medicated
I am currently pregnant from a natural frozen cycle. I was also told that the success rates were the same for medicated vs natural frozen cycles. I felt much better than in any of my previous cycles which were all medicated. (I did end up on endometrin for a week and a half or so due to low-normal progesterone). The one thing to keep in mind is that you need more frequent monitoring so they can catch your LH surge and then calculate the date of transfer. I would highly recommend it.

I did a natural FET and got pregnant...ended in M/C but that's because I have other issues. That cycle was a breeze. Good luck !!
