Freezing baked ziti
I have a bunch of leftover pasta with red sauce. If I use it to make a baked ziti (just add the cheeses and assemble) Can I freeze it like that? What's the best way to do it? Will it get mooshy? Also how do you cook afterwards? Thaw or straight from freezer to oven? Any advice lol?

I think you can freeze with no issues. Either microwave or throw in the oven when ready to use.

Baked Ziti freezes beautifully, but cook it before you freeze. Then when you want it, take out of freezer and thaw and warm in oven.

It's not my favorite thing to freeze but I do it occasionally. I always thaw overnight and just heat in the microwave.

Re: Freezing baked ziti
Assemble it, DO NOT cook it, wrap tightly and freeze. When you're ready to serve, bake it right from the freezer. Do not allow it to thaw first as it will release more moisture and get more mushy. I go right from the freezer to the oven and increase the coking time.
