fresh turkey
i'm making my first turkey this year and i want to use a fresh one. i'm not ready to buy it yet, but every time i go to the supermarket i only see the frozen ones. am i not looking in the right place? where do i find a fresh turkey?

I pre-order mine at the supermarket. I live in IL though.
I know there are a few places you can pre-order in NY too. Maybe check with your local butcher?
