Fresh or Frozen Turkey
Hi, its my first Thanksgiving- scared to DEATH
any insight should I go fresh or frozen on the turkey??
Any suggestions or advice is welcomed!!

def. get a fresh turkey! that way you dont have to worry about a partially defrosted turkey..
my mom always gets fresh..

Good question!! How many days before do you get the fresh.. then what if they don't have the right size when you go to get the fresh turkey?....uggg this is my dilema too. (didn't mean to hijack your thread)/

I always get fresh. And I will usually get it the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

Definately fresh...No need to worry about thawing....I will be getting it the Tuesday before Thanksgiving also
