Us too! We've only had them a few short weeks so I can't really say how they hold up, though.

In my old apt we had a Frigidiare stove and had no problems.
I just saw great sales ads for these appliances at PC Richards this morning.

Re: Frigidaire Appliances
We have a Fridgidare Fridge with the water and ice dispenser and we have rust everywhere (it is a white finish). It's awful, it's taking over and it looks dirty. We called and they said we had to have a fridge tech come in so we did, it cost us $85 for him to tell them it is a defect and now they are sending us new doors. They also offered us 25% off a new one but no way. I am not happy. It's only like 4 years old.

Re: Frigidaire Appliances
We had a Frigidaire washing machine and dryer when we first moved in here. They were only about 2 years old and the dryer would have to be run 2 or 3 times to dry a typical load of towel (2 towels, 2 washcloths, 2 handtowels) or 1 set of sheets.
I will never buy that brand again.

Re: Frigidaire Appliances
I have some basic ones in the kitchen. The fridge is too small, but works fine. The dishwasher is great! The stove is good...but the microwave stinks... Overall, not so bad but I would go up from the basic line.

FYI_there was probably lint around the heating element. This happened to us and our house went on fire! You should take the cover off and clean around teh motor and parts every 6-12 months-the firemen told us this but for some reason it is not common knowledge.
I have all fridgidaire. Love the micro, oven and dishwasher. HATE the electric stovetop-we've only had it about 3 weeks and it is already stained and burned

Re: Frigidaire Appliances
my Dad got the stove and the refidgerator
they looked nice, they were faux SS- since he lives on the water - you really couldn't tell
and knowing my Dad- he did a ton of research before he bought them

Re: Frigidaire Appliances
Just found this and was about to ask about Frigidaire; our house has the s/steel "Professional Series" micro, fridge, stove and dishwasher...and I'm reading horror stories about the dishwasher! The stove is s/s with an electric smoothtop range in black that is a HUGE PITA to clean...not to mention the previous owner peeled a little bit of the ceramic somehow. (Yes, you can only see this if you have the oven light on and are about a 1/2 inch over the cooktop, but I see it and thought it was a grease spot I could clean.) :(

we have a gas range, so I can't really comment on that, but the dishwasher works great. We haven't had any issues with it at all.
ETA: all the glasstop ranges are a PITA so clean - my parents have a GE profile one and they hate the upkeep.
