Front entrance table

Where did you find yours? I will keep checking home goods. Hoping to find a nice table for the front entrance next to the stairs. Looking for ideas. Thanks!

Homegoods gets shipments every Wed., so go on ThursdaysChat Icon

I think I would put a table to the left of the door instead of by the stairs. I would also move the picture and put a mirror up. I think if you put it by the stairs the stuff may get knocked down. I know my kids throw stuff over the railing when they very well know they are not supposed to. You could also do nice round area rug.

Ours is an antique that DH's mom bought at a garage sale years ago. Some times you can find nice pieces at resale shops or Salvation Army.

We want to change that wall by the steps to a banister soon. Not sure if I want the table right in front of the steps though. THere's not a ton of room if I put a table there. I feel like if the kids are running down the steps they'll run right into the table. I want something in the corner next to the basement and under the steps. We can always play around with the table though.

Re: Front entrance table

I got ours at an antique store. I love how unique it is. It also came with a matching mirror.

I found my accent tables at home goods but I just went into furnakit yesterday for a desk and they had some nice looking tables. It's in Holbrook.
