Frontline Question

I screwed up.

Thunder was supposed to have his Frontline applied again on April 15th. I totally forgot until yesterday. So I applied it yesterday. THREE Questions:

1. is there a huge potential that he got fleas or ticks or what? I didn't see any ticks on him and my house is not infested with fleas.. so that seems okay?

2. I am assuming that I should push the whole schedule back. He normally would have been due again on May 15th - but since I just did the application yesterday - I should wait until May 26th, right?

3. Dopey ran around in the rain for a good half hour this morning and refused to come in. My nephew had to PICK HIM UP and bring him in before I left for work. Should I re-apply the frontline (it went on yesterday am and he got wet this morning).

1. He should be ok, I believe if there were any little critters on him, the Frontline should have killed them. Plus you didn't see anything on him, so he should be fine.

2. Yes, you're new schedule will be a month from yesterday.

3. I think he should be ok, though check on the package. I think he just needed to stay dry for a few hours and then it's set in, but double check the box, it should say.

1) I have called Frontline/other flea companies and they generally protect for more than a mth so you are fine I am sure
2) Put it on a mth from when you just put it on, you are on a new schedule
3) DO NOT REAPPLY, could be dangerous. You cannot reapply another dose the next day, no way. Once it dries it is waterproof and won't come off so it doesn't matter if it rained today.

It's fine, you didn't do anything any worse than anyone else...really nothing you described sounds that screwed up overall.

DH and I forgot to put Frontline on Brody for 1 month and he got 3 ticks. Just check your dog just in case. Use today as the new schedule day and reapply 1 month from now.

Don't reapply, all should be fine!
