frozen breastmilk question
i thought i would be home late, and miss nursing db before bed. nanny took out milk from freezer late afternoon, defrosted it by running it under hot water. then i ended up coming home earliee, can i use the bottle tomorrow morning or do i toss? how long is frozen milk good for once defrosted?

If defrosted under hot water.... good for 1 hour. You can't reuse it.

Oh geez. That stinks. Yea. Once warmed, it's done.
When that happens with me, I still give the warmed milk, then pump fresh to put in the freezer.

I think if it's thawed in the fridge. Not under hot water.

love that website!! that's where I got the 24 hour rule from.
it doesn't say anything about only 1 hour for milk thawed under hot water - but maybe I missed it.
