I work in research & development - I am a chemist - I work M-F 8:30-5 but usually stay late (that was before having the baby). My job also requires overnight travel, but not that often. I am currently on maternity leave though.

I am a CPA and work as a General Manager of Corporate Finance.

Right now I work from 40-60 hours per week depending on the time of month and year. Before the baby was consitently working 60-80 hours per week up until the morning I went in labor

I've cut back A LOT. I get to the office b/w 8 and 8:30 and always leave by 5pm the latest. Sometimes before then. All of my overtime I do at home after 8pm when DS is asleep.

I work at a mortgage company and I work 40 hours a week. I drop DD off at my ILs at 8am and pick her up at 5:30pm and then we have an hour commute each way.

40 hrs.(45 w/t lunch)
8:30-5:30 or 9-5:30.
Commute is 45 mins door to door.

I work as a home health aide 35 hours. Then i help my husband out with his business doing all he paperwork about 35 or more.

Teacher 7:30-2:30. He will be with my parents and my in-laws when I go back in the fall.

I teach so I leave around 6:45 and I get home around 3:15 M-F. I have the summer off.

Teacher so I leave about 7 and I am home between 3:15-4 depending on the day. I get tons of time off though...yeah for summers

I'm in marketing and I work 40 hours a week. DH and I split working one day a week at home.

Elementary school librarian (i work around the corner)
8am-2:30 pm
DD will be @ daycare 7:30-3
not too bad...
about 35 hrs/wk

I get in to the office at 9:30-40 leave by 5. I put in more than 40 hours of work as I work on my train ride in, check in at night & weekends. But I have a lot of flexibility at my job & a great boss who told me to leave at 3pm on Friday.

I work 5 days a week, 40 hours a week, I usually leave the house at 8am, drop off DD and I get home about 6pm after picking her up (if I come right home)

College professor. I work 3 days a week. I'll leave the house @ 7am and two days a week I'll be home 5 or 6pm. The third day I'll be home around 2 or 3pm. Like all other educators, there will be loads of work to do at home - but those are generally my hours at my office.

I am an interior designer for Coach (the handbags).
I work 40 hours a weeks, but my commute is 2.5 hours each way to the city. I work in the city 3 days a week and work from home the other two.

Leave house at 8:30, home by 6:30.

I'm a mechanical engineer and work 5 days a week, 40 hours. I do work two days from home though, so that makes things a little easier.

I work as a Public Health Sanitarian and my normal day is 8:30 to 4:30, but I can work up to 15 hours of overtime to week (more if I wanted it) during the summer.

With the commute my day is really 6am-5:30pm

I'm a teacher. I am gone from the house from 7-3:30. Right now I'm home with DS but in the fall DH will be dropping DS off at daycare at 8 and its only a few min from our house. I will pick him up and we'll be home by 4.

He will have some time with DH in the morning and I'm hoping he takes good naps in daycare so we can have the whole afternoon together before bed.

I am down to 4 days a week from 8-3. I am a braille transcriber, the pay is good and I love the hours
