fun question for Sunday
How did you meet DH??
I met DH at CW Post. He was playing football and I sang the national anthem. We saw each other in the gym and he came up to me and said dont you sing the national anthem wanna hang out... and here we are 6 years lata

DH used to work with my good friend's twin brother in NYPD. He had the guys from his squad out for a party one night and DH was running late...it was pouring, he got a flat on the LIE...but when he walked through the door I looked at him, looked at my friend and said "that's the one"....
and that was the beginning of us! 
(true story!)

Queens College Cafeteria at the end of freshman year. He was in classes/friends with some of my classmates/friends.
He asked me if I was wearing 'freesia' pefume (I had the Bath & Body lotion on). I asked him if he was gay  He said no, that he worked in a florist for the past 6 years and knew his flowers.
We started dating that fall. We dated on and off for a few years, then went our separate ways, and 6 years later (due HUGELY to FATE) we got together again and been together ever since.

We met at a party - my GF had a party and invited some of her coworkers. Well one of her coworkers, Jason, bought his buddy, and Dan and I have been together ever since (more than 11 years now).

We met in 03 and started dating in 04.. we both had signifigant others that we were getting out of.. its been love ever since

Well, we really SHOULD have met in the fall of 1988... same college, same major, same dorm, just one floor difference... his roomate was always on my floor asking if anyone wanted to order wings... wings always made me 
So because I hate wings it took 15 YEARS for us to finally meet at speedating...
Moral of the story... eat wings and you will find the love of your live a lot sooner

56 Fighter Group when it was "the place to be" for Friday happy hour. It was May 2001 and we found out that we actually lived around the block from each other, and one of his best friends was my neighbor

I grew up with him and his family. His cousin and I have been friends since 1st grade (we are now almost 30). We even dated a very short time in High School then went our separate ways. Until my 24th b-day I bumped into him at a bar mind you he was with his ex but left with me  and we have now been together for 6yrs on 7/19 and been married for almost 4yrs.

When I went away to college I was miserable at first, so my godfather (who was a teacher at a high school near by) had one of his former students who was also at BU give me a call. We hit it off and planned to meet for dinner. She brought another student of my godfather's who was also at BU... my future DH! So, we met in October of 1996 at college. It was not until we graduated in 2000 that we FINALLY started dating. I knew we were meant for each other before he did! We were married in 2005... our 3rd anniversary is Tuesday!

In a bar in midtown that let in my 20 year old sister and her friend. He and his friends were at a Rock Brokers event at Irving Plaza next door and they walked by and saw us sitting there and came in. He saved me from his friend who was smelling my hair
Been togethr ever since.

We work in the same field and first met at a dinner at the Garden City Hotel. A couple months later, we were both at the same conference in Colorado and developed a friendship. We didn't go on our first date til about 6 months later.

I met him through one of my friends. We were dating other people at the time. I was in a 4 year relationship and he was in a 2 year. I broke up with my b/f and he broke up with his g/f and we got together.
That was over 10 years ago.

We met 11 years ago in August while working together at Macaroni Grill - I had just broken up with my boyfriend when we met. We hit it off very quickly as friends and started hanging out after every shift together - but didn't start dating for another 2 months.
