furniture stores on Rt 110

Has anybody bought anything from any of the furniture stores on 110? DH and I are buying a co-op and are moving in soon. We want to start looking at a few places but don't want to spend an arm and a leg since we need a lot! Any recommendations? We're looking for a living room set, dinnette and possibly a bedroom set.

Peter Andrews has terrific stuff and they are reasonably priced and they happen to be having a huge sale this weekend. You should make a trip to go there. They are on Smith street by Adventureland.

We got out LR furniture from Seigerman's and they had a great selection. The prices were not much of a bargain, but their service is excellent.

I liked Seigermans. We ended up buying our dining room set at Basset. They have great stuff and nice sales people.

We also are looking at stuff at Thomasville.

We just bought a dining table and chairs from Siegerman's along with a couch/chair/ottoman for the living room. The prices were good, service has been good so far. We'll see what happens when the deliveries come.

I also liked a lot of the merchandise in Bassett Furniture.

Good luck!

When we bought our co-op we purchased the majority of our furniture from Levitts - and used some promotional deal they had where we didn't have to pay for 36 months. Those are great as long as you can and will pay 100% on the due date - otherwise the interest gets backdated to the sale date and it's a high percent.

they do have some nice items but IMO, not the best quality. try domain (across from the mall), thomasville, harry's for the home or drexel heritage. all south of adventureland.

I try not to buy any furniture in NY. It's just too expensive. What I do is go to the local stores, find what I like and "try" to determine the manufacture and buy it direct from North Carolina. You will save a lot of money. The downside is you often have to wait weeks for delivery which in most cases it’s the same wait or more if you buy locally.

Re: furniture stores on Rt 110

Please DON'T go to Tiffany Furniture!!! They were horrible with their service after we ordered and they gave us the wrong tile table and refused to take it back because although it was wrong "it was special order." Just to let you know!! I would also check on BBB.com before you shop anywhere on 110 because had I done that before going there, we would have known that there were complaints against them. Good luck!!

We got our bedroom set from The Palace, the service wasnt great but for the price it was worth the aggravation.

Re: furniture stores on Rt 110

We bought our livingroom furniture (leather) from rte 110 Home Furnishings, our micorfiber sofa bed for our basement at Sofa Bed Etc. next to Jennifer Convertibles. We also saw our bedroom set in one of the stores on 110, but ended up saving over $1000 by getting it through NC.

I agree. We did this for our living room and dining room. We ordered June 16, and our delivery is Friday and August 2nd. If you can wait it out, and want high end stuff without paying LI prices, try to order through NC companies.

We got our couches at Tiffany...across from The Place. Their price was almost half of the Place's price!
