FYI - Bank of America
Those taking unpaid maternity leave that have Bank of America with direct deposit...
There was a monthly maintenance fee added to my checking account (My Access Checkin) for the past 2 months (I never had a fee associated with this account before). When I called they said it was because I didn't have any direct deposits for those two months while I was on unpaid maternity leave. In the future I have to call before to let them know when I will be going on maternity leave and they will waive the fees. Just a heads up!

Their policy is that if you have direct deposit all fees are waived no matter what your balance is. So if your not getting direct deposit, regular fees apply. I think its nice of them to waive it for maternity leave.
