FYI about washing babies clothes...
Just wanted to share a piece of advice that was given to me when I had DD:
Wash anything with feet and all socks inside out. Hair and lint tends to get trapped in the footies and can wrap around the babies toe(s) cutting off circulation. In some cases you might not notice until the toe is turning colors since the baby obviously can't tell you that something is wrong and their feet are covered up most of the time.
From the time DD was born I did this (still do with her socks!) and I still had an incident one time where one of my hairs was wrapped around her toes.
I didn't think of it again until today when I started washing all of the newborn stuff for DC #2 - but I definitely would not have ever thought about it if someone hadn't mentioned it to me!

I was told this too.. and when ever anyone asks me what the best piece advice was given to me.. this is the one I say! at 15m I still wash her footie pjs inside out.. I was doing socks too but found they didnt get clean.. so I just check the inside after they are washed
