Gas Burner Maintenance Contract?
How much is one typically?
ETA: This is for a rental, it has gas heat and the LL is telling us that we need to get a service contract on the burner. I sort of feel like that should be HIS responsibility so now I'm hesitant to even sign the lease.

it's his responsibility. I wouldn't sign the lease if he won't pay for it.

you do not need maintence on a gas burner....there is nothing to do on it....do not get roped into buying one....

Actually it says "service" contract..is that the same thing? It also says I'm responsible for a hot water heater and air conditioning service contract.

That's pretty much how I feel. We've emailed him to tell him we're going to keep looking. I'm so dissapointed though because the house is great and one I really wanted! We have been going back and forth the past month and I feel like he should've told me these things up front.
