Gate Check Bag
We are flying on Friday, coming to NY!! We are planning to gate check our stroller, do I need a gate check bag? WDYT?

if it folds up nicely- don't bother with the bag. i used a bag the first few times i flew with my stroller, and it was such a hassle to put it in the bag while trying to manage ds, and then get it back out while he was ansy from the flight.
believe me- not worth the battle!

Yayyy! Cant wait to meet you! Hope you can come to some GTGs!! 
We're flying to FL in a few weeks. I dont think I'll be using a cover. It seems like too much work.

Definitely use the bag - I flew with Jet blue and Delta - and the ones who didn't use the bags were complaining on the gangways of rips and others of dark tar like marks on their strollers. It wasn't a pain at all b.c you just put it in the bag before you get in line to board and then open it again right when you get off the plane. It just gives some added protection.

I used a gate check bag. My stroller was still broken by the airline and they refused to pay for the damage. I paid $$$ to have it fixed and it still does not work well. At this point I would get a cheep stroller to use at your destination.

I would get a bag for the stroller. The first time we flew with DS we didn't use one and the stroller was soaking wet. We've used a bag on all other flights since and our strollers and car seats have been fine.

ok, so of course I waited until the last minute and now I can't find one anywhere, I would have to get it online and its too late to ship, what do I do?
