Gender Disappointment

I was a little bummed last week about having Boy #3.

Well today I went for my level 2 and I was so emotional, I was filled with such excitement and love already. To see the baby just melted my heart. DH and I were both so teary eyed.

Every thought or sad feeling I had last week completely went away and throughout the day I kept getting choked up thinking about how close my boys will be, and better yet all the activities they will be doing with me DH.

I just wanted to put this out there in case anyone else has felt the way I did last week.

Re: Gender Disappointment

lovely post and so true.....i'm 25 weeks and love reading all the pregnancy posts....nearly all the posts relating to the 20 week scan are about finding out the gender but it's also a very serious scan....we went for ours in december and like everyone else were excited to find out the sex of our baby....unfortunately they found an abnormal during the scan...so all excitement about the sex of the baby went out the window.....we didn't even bother finding out at that point. we went through a week of blood tests and eventually an amnio and luckily for now we have been told that although there is something on the baby it looks like it's nothing to be concerned about.

FTR we have since found out that we're having a Chat Icon . we have a 2yr old Chat Icon so although i'm just relieved that everything looks good with the baby now and our worry seems to be over i have to admit origianally deep inside i kinda wanted another Chat Icon cause i'm so close to my sisters and can't imagine her growing up without a sister...but you know what...i think it's all about how you raise your kids and i'm going to do all i can to make sure they're as close as can be!
good luck with all the pregnancies ladies!

THat is so nice!
I am very torn over what I prefer.....as long as this baby is as great as my son to me it doesn't matter......

If you want, you can pay for a voluntary gender determination sono. That is what I did @16 weeks! I couldn't wait to find out Chat Icon It ranges from 60-100 around to find out sex and get sono pics and I even got a DVD of it, it was amazing and well worth it in my opinion. There are places all over NY, you can google it.
