Gender preference
I know everyone says they don't care what they have,as long as the baby is healthy. But I am just wondering if you could choose, what you would want.

Re: Gender preference
I was hoping for a girl, only b/c we live in a 2 bedroom house, and the new baby HAS to share a room with my daughter. But I am really happy we're having a boy!

Re: Gender preference
I find myself leaning more and more towards a girl [so I bet I have a boy]. DH is deadset it's a boy...and it annoys me...although his friends filled his head with all these old wives' tales and he is less convinced now.
I was certain I was having a boy and wanted a boy with my first, I had a girl...thus my reasoning I'll have a boy this time since I want a girl.

Re: Gender preference
I wanted my first to be a boy. I just wanted the oldest to be a big brother and look out for his siblings. Plus, I KNEW that DH was hoping for a boy to follow in his footsteps.
Of course, I had a boy, so when the second came around, I was praying hard for a girl, but I would have been quite content if she had been a boy. We we had a girl.
If we have a 3rd, I would want a girl so my two DD's could be great sisters, and close in age. We haven't figured out if there will be a third!

Re: Gender preference
At first i was really rooting for another , but then i got PG and convinced myself it was a , so that i wouldnt be disappointed and b/c i felt differently with this one. So now i am completely undecided, i would be happy with either. DD wants a sister, she isnt changing her mind on that one.

Re: Gender preference
I always wanted a little girl, to dress up and put her hair in pigtails. But since I've been PG, I am DRAWN to boy clothes, boy bedding, everything boy! I have no reason why, but I'm thinking we're having a , and that's perfectly great with me to! I'll kind of be thrown for a loop if it's a now, because I'm sooo thinking it's a boy. I will find out by this time next week, hopefully!

Re: Gender preference
while we did not essentially care....we both wanted a boy so that we would have 1 of each and be done with the baby making!

Re: Gender preference
Honestly, I dont have a preference...I think it is strange that I dont, but when people ask, I have no idea what I would prefer. However, DH has made it clear that he would like a girl....We will be happy with either....although, we disagree on ALL girl names! LOL

Re: Gender preference
I dont care, I'll be happy either way, but if I could choose, I'd say because we already have a girl, and DH really wants a boy.

i really want another girl only because DH's family is sports obsessed and I don't want Jiavana to get ignored if there is a boy.

Re: Gender preference
This time around would be great! We already have a He's 10, so I'm kinda starting all over again with this, but I feel like if it's a girl I wont feel as much pressure to try again!! Sounds silly I know but then I'll have one of each, and after that it would be a bonus!! DS wants DH says he doesn't care as long as it's healthy!!!

I'm getting a vibe, but everyone around me is getting a vibe. I could have written this myself. I realyl don't care either way. DH won't admit it but he slips every once & a while & says He when talking about the baby. MIL has done this too.
I don't really get a vibe, but the one dream I had before I got my BFP it was a girl.

Re: Gender preference
Before we got pregnant we both would say . When we did get pregnant I honestly didn't feel strongly about what it could be but DH insisted After a while I started thinking and kinda got attached to that.
We couldn't find out at the Level 2 but we both think right now. Hopefully we will find out but either one is fine. In those moments where the doctor has a hard time finding the heartbeat I firmly believe all moms that say they don't care about the sex.
