Generic meds - Lupron
I just found out my insurance covers the generic version of Lupron. Has anyone used generic meds? What does Lupron generally cost? Would it be better to spend the extra $ and get the brand name?

I had the generic with my first IVF cycle and I don't think it's any different than the name brand. Just cheaper. I would definatley use it again.

it's called luporide or something like that, right? That's what's being shipped to me now--- it cost me a $60 copay for a 14 day supply. The nurse told me it's all the same stuff and the generic is fine.. HTH!
