Getting a "throw-away" cell phone/service?
I am a landlord about to list my apartment for rent again since my tenants arent renewing the lease - and am considering getting another cell phone just to use for the purpose of fielding phone calls, dealing with real estate agencies, etc.
I dont want to use my regular iPhone for this because I have a ton of work related calls/texts/emails that come in and I dont want to mix them up w. the housing stuff.
I already have 2 old phones (old Motorola Razrs from 2007-2009) and just need to add service to them, for maybe 300 minutes a month at most..
Does anyone know if MetroPCS allows an arrangement where I can just use my phone to add a service? Or should I use a pre-paid phone? I am trying to find the best way to do this??? Suggestions?

Agreed.
I don't know about an APP, but I have the calls forwarded to my cell, and if declined they go to google voice voicemail, not my cell. I use it for y business

I have a net10 cellphone. You can get a cheap for like 16 dollars. I just got one today because some reason my cellphone was acting up and I cant wait 4-5 days for a new one. I Don't if you want to spend it but you can get a unlimited plan for 56 dollars a month. they also have cheaper plans. You can go to net10.com if you want more info.

I know for Android there is an app... and when i make a phone call it asks which "number" i want to call from my own cell or my google voice number..
and you can get/send text messages
and the voicemails get transcribed into emails.
