Getting into shape and TTC
Okay, so after seeing a pic of myself today, I need to get back in gear. I was doing Atkins but stopped a few months back because I read that this is EXTREMELY unhealthy for pregnancy. Well, the books are right-you balloon up, and I am on prednisone, which is not helping.
Are there any good prenatal eating programs? Also, how about exercise? TTC is my top priority, but I would like to have only one chin! I am so frustrated with myself right now, I can cry! Basically, any ideas?

Re: Getting into shape and TTC
As far as I know, it is beneficial to exercise while TTC is definitely a good thing. Your body will be under a lot of stress during pregnancy so the more fit and strong you can make it beforehand can only help. Plus, exercise helps your libido :) I tend to start shedding pounds/inches once I start exercising.
I would be careful about dieting. I am not an advocate of any "diets" so I am a bit biased. Always think it best to eat as healthy as possible without depriving yourself. My motto is anything is fine in moderation (of course I have trouble following my own advice and cookies have been my latest vice!). Changing your eating habits now will help you get ready for pregnancy since you want to eat well for your baby!
I am not a healthcare professional so you may want to talk to your doc also.
