Getting ready to start my 4 month old on solids - what spoons do you recommend?

I always loved the gerber rubber-coated spoons. They are almost flat, so they don't hold much, just the perfect tiny amount to get your DS used to it.

I like the gerber ones as well. Get the ones that turn white if the food is too hot. Very helpful in the beginning.

I use these and my DD loves them. They are shallow and don't hold a lot, which is perfect. And, if you decide to warm your cereal, they turn white when too hot.

I use the Gerber spoons, and I like the Sassy bowls. They come in a 3-pack, three different sizes. I mix oatmeal in one and put fruit in another. I like that they have a little handle; it's easier to grip than a regular bowl.
I also bought a bowl that has two compartments, because sometimes it's easier holding one bowl instead of going back and forth between two different ones.

We use the Munchkin ones, too. No problems, and she (at 5 months) already likes to grab them & try to feed herself.
