Just thought I'd post the link to the site. I haven't seen this particular product before, so I don't know about the quality, but I would think you would have the same positives and negatives of any paint.

If your countertops are in good condition, it would be a nice change in the look of the counter.

Re: Giani Countertop Paint

I did this a few years ago. They looked awesome and were a huge upgrade from the old counters we had. I will say that if you're rough on your counters, it won't last long. I think after about a year or so, we started to have little areas where it was peeling- especially around sink. We lived with it for 2 years, and then replaced the counters with laminate countertops from Lowe's. If I had to do it again, I would probably have skipped the painting and just replaced the counters. We don't have a lot of counterspace, so it didn't cost much and we had a friend install them. We were just looking to put a cheap bandaid on things until we do a complete renovation in the future.

If you're more gentle on your counters, the paint will last longer for sure. I did look nice while it lasted. Add an extra topcoat, don't put anything rough on them, no harsh cleaners, and keep them dry.
