Giant Cupcake Cake??

Where can I get one? I can't remember where I saw it on here...and I'm thinking of doing one for Ashley's 2nd birthday at her kids's party...

They sell the pan at Michael's. I am not sure of any bakeries that make them. I have the pan and it was so easy to make.

William sonoma sells one for $39 and wilton on amazon has one for $24

i had a beautiful one for my baby shower made..it was from riesterers bakery in west hempstead..it fed 35 people (ish) and was about 60 bucks or so..it was RIDICULOUSLY DELICIOUS...and soooooo beautiful..

They sell the pan at Michaels or AC Moore...and Newsday has coupons for both store this week....40% off one item any day and 50% on Tuesday.

I just bought the pan at AC moore and made a practice one for DD's first bday - its adorable, but it came out smaller than I expected. I think I'm going to make 2 mixes and fill up the pan a little bit more and use the rest of the 2nd mix for individual cupcakes.

Maybe a little unrelated, but how do you cut this cake? I'd love to get the cakepan so I can make it, but how would I serve it?

Everyone seems to do it differently.

It bakes in two pieces and you use frosting to stick them together. I know people who have taken the two pieces apart and cut it like that. I just cut it like a normal round cake. Once you get about 1/2 way through it starts to want to topple over but then I just layed it down and kept on slicing.

It is really easier to make, decorate and bake than it looks. I promise.

I take the top off and cut it separetly from the bottom.
