Gift bags or wrapping paper?
Which do you use more frequently?
I use more wrapping paper at the holidays...what fun is it for a kid to open a bag?!

I usually use wrapping paper. Kids love unwrapping gifts.

Wrapping paper - I only use bags once in a while when something is to awkward to wrap.

for the holidays I wrap almost everything. during the rest of the year I find myself throwing everything in gift bags. I think opening a wrapped gift is more fun, and that's why I do it for the holidays.

same with me!!
although I was being a ball buster one year and I wrapped my DH's gift in like 6 boxes....so he started with a very large box and kept opening smaller boxes....until he got to his gift!!
I used A LOT of wrapping paper that year!!

wrapping paper--xmas presents for kids is about ripping off the paper!  my nieces and nephews love doing that.
for other celebrations i use gift bags

I definitley wrap more than use gift bags. I will use gift bags for gift cards.
Definitley more fun to unwrap gifts.

Just depends on the shape of the gift. This year I'm using more bags than wrap since pillows are hard to wrap since they are soft and not exactly square.

For Christmas, kids always get wrapping paper. Adults whose gifts are in standard boxes get wrapping paper, otherwise it's a bag. Birthdays, it depends on what I have in the house.

I use both sometimes I put a bunch of small wraped gifts in a bag just to make it easier to carry.

I used to always use wrapping paper b/c it looks so pretty ..but now that I travel to Florida for christmas..I can't wrap beforehand b/c u aren't supposed to have giftwrapped gifts in your luggage..and by the time I get there I'm usually running around helping mom that gift bags are easier....and there are no little kids in my family other wise I would still wrap for them. As for friends and family here ..I do both depending what I'm giving.
