Gift ideas for K teacher who went above and beyond?
DS is finishing kindergarten and I'd like to thank his teacher with a special gift. She worked so hard with my son and really went to bat for him when we were going through the evaluation process. She also worked 1:1 with him on a daily basis when he didn't understand and/or couldn't complete work on his own. We ended up getting DS classified and she was a big part of that process as well.
So can anyone recommend a special gift that can really show this teacher how much I appreciated all her efforts.

What about a gift card to a nice restaurant that she likes? I'm a teacher and gift cards are great!

I got the teachers Henri Bendel reusable totes. Plus I gave for th class gift too.

I do a letter & a gift card for the ones that go above & beyond.

We feel the same way as OP about our DC's kindergarten teacher so we gave a pretty personal gift and a very nice letter thanking her for her dedication, sincerity, and kindness this year but I didn't even think of CC'ing her superiors. How do you do that? We put a hand-written note to the kindergarten teacher but should we also write a separate letter to her, with the cc going to the principal and super? Is it too late?

I got one of these this year CC'd to my principal, and it really was an amazing gift. My principal forwarded it higher up, which was even nicer! It feels good to be acknowledged, especially in this school climate today.

I did this for my DD's Kindergarten teacher...........and the principal AND superintendent responded personally to my letter!!
I also got her a gift but I thought it was more important for her to be recognized for the great job that she did all year.
