Re: Gift Question... be honest

I wouldn't worry about not getting the Tiffany's. That label means more to women than men I think. Chat Icon

I bought my DH cufflinks too, but from Macy's. I considered the ones you posted but asked my brother in laws about them and they didn't like that style. They liked more "manly" cufflinks they said.

I wound up getting Kenneth Cole cufflinks (which is a brand he likes) and they come in blue and plain silver:

They're $40.00. Good luck with the search! Chat Icon

Oh man... you think they are "not manly" now I am more confused... I finally decided to forget about tiffanys since he really would not care...BUT, I am glad you posted this... I liked them cause they are "loveknot" but if they arent nice, than forget it...

No no no, I didn't say that! My brother in laws did. Chat Icon

I thought they were nice, and told them the same thing. They thought that I cared more about the symbolism of the love knot than the asthetics of the cufflinks.

These aren't sentimental men I'm talking about here. So take what I'm saying with a grain of salt! If you think your DH will like them and appreciate the sentimentality, get them! Chat Icon

I just wanted to give you a background on what I did and found. Chat Icon

I bought those (from fortunoff) a few years ago for FH!

They're really nice. No, he won't give a damn they're not from Tiffany! I love them, I got the white gold with the little diamond in the middle.

Re: Gift Question... be honest

I went to "The Westchester" in White Plains today- wow amazing mall!

Well, I bought two pairs of cufflinks
from Nordstroms

one cheaper pair-love knots- they were only $40.00 -really nice,

BUT, then I saw Burberry Ones...they are so nice... I had to buy them too! they were $140.00- not too bad! I love the pattern, they will match so many of his shirts...it's not "the name" they are just really nice

I am so happy I got them finally!
