Gift suggestions for an Indian wedding?
DH and I were invited to a wedding in India for one of his coworkers. We can't make it, but would like to send something.
Can anyone suggest anything? I don't know much about Indian wedding etiquitte and don't want to screw it up.

Just one question, is it a Hindu ceremony?

If you mean a coworker that lives here in the States, then I would just send a check and card to their address here!

Yes, it's a Hindu ceremony.
Prithvi lives and works in New Delhi.

Re: Gift suggestions for an Indian wedding?
Since it's a Hindu ceremony (just wanted to check before I answered your question)..cash/check is fine if you wanted to do that, but it has to be an amount ending in a 1..for instance instead of $50, give $51.
That's because it's considered to be auspicious amount and good luck for the couple.
