gifts for teachers/child care??
do you give gifts to your DC teachers, childcare, ect...
if so, what?
DS goes to nursery school - one teacher and one aide

Good question - I would love ideas too!
I need to get 4 gifts for the daycare teachers - his former teacher and assistant and his current teacher and assistant.
How much should I spend on each?

My kids go to nursery school.
Head teacher: $30 (1 each)
Assistant teacher: $25 (1 each)
Specials teachers: $10 (DD has 4, DS has 2)
Directors: a food gift to share

I think my DS is changing rooms before Christmas. 
Can I get suggestions for what to do when I might have to buy for 5 or 6 teachers? He's been in his current room for about 5 or 6 weeks so it's not like they have had him in there for the whole year either, if that matters.

When you say special teachers, what do you mean?
Everyone at our school gets for the directors. I didn't last year and overheard 2 moms talking about how they heard someone in the class didn't get them one and how tacky it was.  I'm going to get a thing of cookies from the grocery store bakery.
Specials at our school are Art Appreciation, Music, Movement and Library. I don't think everyone gets for them, but my SIL is a specials teacher so I know how hard they work.
