Girl Potty Question (TMI)

One of my daughters seems to pee up. (that's the best way to describe it) no matter how she is placed on the potty it seems to go up & all over the seat.

Does anyone know why? Is this something I should bring up to her pediatrician?

Re: Girl Potty Question (TMI)

My niece did this in the beginning. She would sit on the toilet and she would end up peeing all over herself and it would come up and over the edge of the bowl. I think it was just the way she was sitting (she would lean back so she was essentially tilted up)

If you are concerned though I would just give a quick call to the ped and see what their advice is.

This happens with my DD a lot. I think the trick is to make sure to take her pants and underwear off (so that her legs are free) and to have her lean forward a bit. Good luck!!

Are you doing them both at the same time? Did you just one day go into underware? I think we are doing this starting Saturday and I am very nervous.

My dd does this sometimes as well - I think its because when she pees - she kind of pushes it out as fast as possible and it sorta shoots all over.

I had one like that and this was exactly what I was going to suggest.
