Girl scout activity ideas
I have a brownie and daisy and our troop leaders could use some help finding activities for the rest of this year. I couldn't find the thread that I saw a while back.

our brownie troop just completed a dance badge. we are going on a bank tour this week, and a money management event.

Have you done a trip to a firehouse yet? My girls got a badge for that.

I do Cubs but the there are a lot of great programs around that are suitable for both Cub Scouts & Girl Scouts.
Some of our favoriate places:
Fire Station
Police Station
Theodore Roosevelt Nature Center@ Jones Beach
K Joy Radio Station
Old Bethpage
Planetarium (closed for reno. but the house and grounds are still nice)
CSTL in Rockville Center
Walt Whitmans Home
Theodore Roosevelts Home (also closed for reno but the grounds are beautiful)
Safety Town
Marine Nature Study Area in Oceanside
Norman Levy Park
Fishing
Childrens Museum (great sleepover)
Fire Museum
Cradle of Aviation (great sleepover)
Republic Airport
Ice Skating
Rollerskating
Thats all I can think of off the top of my head. Enjoy

See, lurkers are good...
I was in the supermarket yesteray and heard an ad for field trips. Checked out the website and they list badges that brownies can earn
