Girls, Im just at my wits end
So after the first of the year, i made an effort and promise to lose 5-6lbs by Feb 15 (the day i leave for my trip). I have been diligent about making it to the gym, doing 2 nights of SPIN and 2 days of weight training w/ other cardio mixed in. I have been really good w/ eating and even tracking what im eating. On weekend i am more lax but by no means "bad".
In any case, the friggin scale has moved maybe 2-3 lbs. Im SO dam n discouraged. There is not more that i can do. I have a bad cold this week so i went on Tues and yesterday and im trying to lay low today and tomorrow bc im a sniffling mess. I have 3 wks until my trip and im so discouraged What more can i do????????????????????

You also need to bear in mind that muscle weighs more than fat. If you are doing weight training you are probably building up muscle-which is great because muscle actually burns calories while you are at rest- but the scale might not reflect a lower number. The best gauge is to really go by how your clothes fit and how you feel!

You are so right! I do feel tighter and my arms are def getting stringer so it could be some muscle weight. As for clothes, fitting about the same
