Girls that were on LIW
I definitely miss my '11ers!! I stay in contact with a few but not the way it used to be. I did run into one girl who was already going through a divorce but she seemed to be doing well - very happy! I hope all the brides from my year of enjoying life!

Sometimes I wonder and I also wonder if everyone is happy. I've known a lot of people in my personal life who have stayed married in spite of finding out that they are not compatible. I am an 05 bride and I heard there were some divorces but I am not sure who.
I am also an 05 bride and I recall hearing that someone got divorced but I don't recall who it was. I hope they were able to find happiness.
Same here. I know of one divorce. We were dress twins and her catering hall was near my home so while I never met her, I remember her.
It's difficult to know. Some never made the jump, some
changed avatars (not good at following all that ) and many from 05 don't post anymore or rarely.
You are the only 05' girl I still know I haven't been on here in months!

Hi back!
I'm an '05 bride also and very happily married. I didn't know any fellow brides from LIW but a couple of my friends who married around the same time are now divorced.
Another '05er too & happily married. I only know a couple of friends IRL who have gotten divorced & they were married before us. We were late bloomers (DH took forever to propose ) so we were the last of our friends to get married.

07er here and off the top of my head I can think of 5 LIWers who are already divorced, and I'm pretty sure there are a few more. Hearing that always makes me a little sad but things happen for a reason I'm sure.

Here too. We had the best group of girls.
I'm still married with 2 kiddies.

Wow really?!? It's so sad... I haven't kept in touch with any of the other 09er's so I have no clue how everyone is doing. Marriage is def a lot diff from just dating/being engaged so as sad as it is, I can def see why divorces happen so early on
Yep I think people don't realize how much work goes into marriage. It's hard. When your engaged you think about this perfect wedding and get all caught up in that, that you forget what marriage really is and how much work goes into it. It's not some fairytale that people project it to be. I also think liw sugar coats it to some extent- like it's this wonderful "fairy tale". I find lif to be more realistic of what truly does or can happen.
I'm an 08'er and still happily married, but I'm not going to lie- it's hard work!!!!!!!! Marriage is hard. It's work. I think people forget the bigger picture sometimes. I know of several divorces. One couple split and got back together.
