Girls who grew up in the 80s...maybe you can help me?
Do any of you remember those "mobiles" that hung from the ceiling? They were usually sold at the flea market or places like Import Alley.
Did they have a specific name? Or were they just called "mobiles"? 
Do you guys know if they're still sold? I've tried searching the net with no luck. 
OR do you all have no clue what I'm talking about!?!?

Were they the ones that spiraled? I feel like flea markets and outdoor fairs might have them.

They were usually stuffed, like small spiraling hearts in different colors to make a rainbow. There were also ice cream cones, rainbows, unicorns, etc..
It was a very girly, 80s thing, although my orthodontist had a crapload of them hanging in his practice.

I know exactly what you are talking about!! They were made of satin material, many had hearts or balloons, etc. I had one...I don't know if they had a name.
Were they made by Lisa Frank or Mrs. Grossman's sticker companies? I don't think so...but for some reason that came to mind. But I googled it and can't seem to find anything.

Yes, I was also thinking Mrs. Grossman's stickers!! I loved stickers, still do! Still have a lot from my collection.

I was thinking that after I posted. I had one that was a lavendar star with a clear pocket on it. We used it for the tooth fairy. I remember getting the ice cream cone one for my aunt who owned an ice cream shop. Yes! I remember these!!!

I don't remember these at all! I was also pretty girly & grew up in the 80s on LI.
I had a plastic charm necklace, ribbon barrettes, and personalized everything, but these don't sound familiar to me. .

omg - I had a the purple/hot pink satin hearts one too - with Metalic bows hanging off the end !!!!!!
To match my purple and pink wallpaper I might add. That and my seasonal light up make up mirror...and pink gum ball mach.

OMG...I don't know what they were called or where to get them...but thanks for the trip back on memory lane! I still remember my red hot air balloon with the basket full of stars and hearts - and my name written in gold! ahhhhh
