Ladies who grew up in the 80s- I showed my class The Outsiders...

They didn't recognize anyone- except for a couple did spot Tom Cruise. Quite a few of the girls thought Rob Lowe was hot.

OMG... me too! Such a great movie. I knew all the lines. They were all so hot! I think I had that poster of them hanging in my room... probably next to a 21 Jump Street picture.

What an amazing movie. I was actually thinking about it last week! LOVE that movie! I need to see it again - I remember being hysterical during the scenes when Ralph Macchio dies and when Matt Dillon dies - omg - dragging himself in the street

FYI- a Director's Cut/2 DVD edition came out last year- there is an additional 22 minutes of footage and clips of the cast reading from the book. I am going to buy it even though I have the original on DVD. This was the first time I did the book and movie and there are some good parts of the book that's not in the movie!
