Girls with big boobs - Bra help needed!
Ok. I'm normally a 32C or 32D (depending on bra)...anyway, i'm 12 weeks pregnant and already had to buy new bras. I bought supportive high end expensive bras, but they hurt like hell. I'm now wearing a 34DD!!!
Can anyone recommend a comfy bra that actually give some good support?

Go to a maternity store, and buy nursing bras. I went from a 38DD to a 42E (on the tightest prongs) but I got the larger size so I could grow into it a little.
These nursing bras are so freakin comfy!

I am now a 36D and bought some super comforatable ones at kohls by Olga (Satin Edge™ Lined Underwire Bra) and LOVE THEM!!!!

I feel your pain. I started out as a 34DD and was up 2 sizes by 14 weeks. If you go to a bra store, they should be able to fit you. I was fitted and I find the bras so much more comfortable. The brand I bought is called Fantasie (it's made for larger chests). I also got a bra strap extender (they are like $2), which hooks into your hooks and gives you more space accross the back. FM if you have anmore questions. I feel like a breast expert!

I went to Kohls and bought the playtex 18 hour bras-
#1- Cheap! I think around $11 each. Even the underwire one has great support!
#2- VERY wide straps. Total grandma bras.
#3- They will get bigger- don't spend too much on new bras now. Mine have been through 3 growth spurts so far at 20 weeks.

Agreed. I started out with some big 'uns, and they have really only gone up 1/2 cup size in 16.5w, so I am still trying to sneak them into my pre-growth bras. Mostly because I am way too cheap to buy new ones until the need is desperate.

This is why I had to start using the padded ones. I was getting "eternal headlights" and it was getting quite embarassing.

I need new bras also. I have been wearing my pre-pregnancy bras still but have to tuck the nip back in when i adjust in the morning because they're getting to small. For some reason I can't bring myself to buy maternity bras...I think granny bras when I think of them...even though I haven't actaully went to the store to check them out. I also don't want to spend money on my usual VS that I will only wear for a few more months. I'm going to get myself some cheapies.

I'm normally a 36C...but I had 36D's from when I gained weight a few years back. So I have been wearing them.
I wear the Body by Victoria and they have lasted me the entire pregnancy.

I started out 32DD and I really need a few new bras. They still fit, but the band is soooo tight it hurts!
I really don't want to spend a lot of money if my boobs are going to get even bigger, so I'm thinking I'll go to Target and/or Kohl's and see what I can find there.

I'm also a 32DD and I'm finding most of them are tight, even at 8 weeks! I'm hesitant to get new bras not knowing how much bigger they will get. I'm going to try to get away with what I have for a while longer. As long as I don't wear lower cut shirts it won't look like two bald men fighting to get out of my top!

Oh I feel your pain! I started out at 34DD, went to a 36F during my pregnancy and am now sad to say.. In a 36H yes, you read it right and H! My boobs are 6 time larger then DS!  I had to go to a corsetorium (SP) to get my bras, i found that the best way to do it since they will measure and fit it the proper way!! good luck

I second Body By Victoria!!! I discovered them the other day when I needed new undies....and let me tell you they are amazingly comfy!! Not cheap, but worth the splurge!

Ugh! I have had to replace my bras 3 times already & I'm only 25 weeks. I started out a 34D, now I'm a 36F. I just keep buying cheapo Gillian O'Malley @ target- the nursing sports bras- they don't go up to my cup size (don't really have cups, though) so I've been increasing the band size & stay w/ the DD cup (really bad fit, I know). Once I give birth, I'll go to a nursing bra store & buy ones that actually fit right. I'm too cheap to invest right now.

 I had the same thing happen- 32C to 32DD. I had to buy new bras by the time I was 9 wks. Not sure which brand you purchased. I bought wacoal and chantelle- which I usually wear- and I was very comfortable in them. Then as the PG went on, I used bra extenders from Motherhood. They lasted me until the end. (I would guess that I was a 38DD when I gave birth.)

I started out as a 36G/H pre-pregnancy. I highly recommend Goddess 3910 bras! if you need sexier or different cut bras under blouses, sweaters, etc., check out Freya & Panache! They make great larger size bras.
Unfortunately I'm now a 36I again (this happened with my 1st pregnancy) and miserable since Goddess doesn't go up to mysize.

Thanks for all the responses...
I had bought Chantille bras..but they aren't comfy for me.
I personally hate that my boobs are growing...just hate it...i was ok being a 32D, but hate that i'm getting bigger...Esp since i'm tiny..Only 5 feet and on the thin side...UGH!!!!
Did anyone boobs stop growing, i'm praying mine don't keep growing throughtout the pregnancy.
